Gosford RSL Club has celebrated its 13 year partnership with the Max Potential Program in 2020.
The 2020 Gosford RSL Max Potential Celebration was held on September 2nd via ZOOM.
(The annual Showcase not able to be held at the club due to COVID-19).
Gosford RSL will be delivering the 14th program in 2021.
The Max Potential program, an initiative of ClubsNSW, offers 22 weeks of personal leadership development, including coaching, to young leaders from schools, TAFE, University and the community to help them maximise their potential during the final years at school and beyond.
Max Potential also encourages students to focus on the local community and ways that they can work to improve it. Gosford RSL Club has been successfully facilitating the program in the Gosford City local government area since 2008 and it has grown from 15 students and 12 coaches to 30 students and 30 coaches for the 2020 program.
The young people have an opportunity to impact others and their region through a community project, supported and partnered by local community leaders and networks. Their personal leadership outcomes were publicly celebrated at the final "Showcase" in Sept.
