Digital Connect Sessions at Gosford RSL
Gosford RSL is proud to host Digital Connect, a community focused program designed to help people aged 50 and over feel more confident using everyday digital technology.
Held in The Grandstand, these sessions provide a relaxed environment where participants can learn at their own pace, ask questions and build practical skills without pressure.
The sessions are delivered by Digital Connect Central Coast and are funded by Good Things Australia through the Australian Government’s Be Connected initiative, supporting digital inclusion across local communities.

SESSION DETAILS
Time: 10:00am to 12:00pm
Where: The Grandstand, Gosford RSL Club
When: First and third Thursday of each month
Commencing: Thursday 5 February
Cost: Free
Who: People aged 50 and over
TOPICS
The program begins with smartphone basics such as data use, gestures and mobile plans, before moving into personalising settings, staying connected and using everyday apps. Later sessions cover topics including photo management, navigation and travel apps, online safety, scam awareness, social media, entertainment and health related apps.
Sessions are delivered in small groups across both Apple and Android devices, guided by friendly Digital Mentors who encourage discussion and hands on learning. One on one support is also available after each session for individual questions, including assistance with laptops.
Participants are encouraged to bring a charged device and an open mindset.
Digital Connect sessions reflect Gosford RSL’s ongoing commitment to providing a welcoming space where people can learn, stay connected and feel supported.
