In addition to Gosford RSL's financial contributions to our community through the ClubGRANTS scheme, our staff are also participating in awareness campaigns, fundraisers and fun community events.
Cup of Kindness Day
Cup of Kindness Day was held Oct 1. With 50c from every hot beverage sold from the cafe and food truck going to Youth Off The Streets.
Care Packs
Care Packs were delivered to some of our members who reside in the retirement Village next door.
With tissues, sanitiser, toilet paper, toothpaste, cereals and other essential items.
Bush Fire Appeal
$17000 was raised in the Bush Fire Appeal Raffle. Gosford RSL donated $7000 in prizes with all ticket sales going to the Salvation Army Bush Fire Appeal. $8500 was raised......The Board of Directors then matched the amount with another $8500. A total of $17000 raised.
Support our Aussie Farmers
$7000 was raised in the Farmers Raffle where Gosford RSL provided $6000 worth of prizes. The Club then matched the $7000 raised in ticket sales, resulting in 2 trucks being funded to deliver much needed hay to our farmers through Rural Aid.
Give Blood Today
Gosford RSL Management & staff regularly donate blood or plasma at our local centre.

Leaders Leap

Great Cycle Challenge
Matthew Crowther raises funds each year for the Great Cycle Challenge to help fight kid's cancer. Gosford RSL members also donate to the collection tins at the bars.
McGrath Foundation
What a great day - Jan 5, the club supported The McGrath Foundation with staff wearing pink and $1 from all schooners & pink moscato was donated to the McGrath Foundation. A total of $1633.05.
Winter Clothing Appeal
Gosford RSL collects winter clothing each year for CoastShelter. It's time to #giveyourbest
White Ribbon
Gosford RSL assisted the Domestic Violence Liaison Officers for Brisbane Water Local Command, with their White Ribbon Appeal. Central Coast Ford at West Gosford generously donated a car, that was displayed in our foyer and tickets for the raffle were available to buy at reception.
Executive Sleepout
Gosford RSL CEO Russell cooper slept out to raise funds, awareness and support for Coast Shelter.
Riding for Rhizokids
Gosford RSL is supporting Nola Ryan 's fundraising efforts for Riding for Rhizokids. Members are also helping by donating in the tins at the bars.
22 pushups challenge
22 push ups a day for 22 days to raise awareness for combat veterans. 22 vets a day are committing suicide. It's tragic and we need to help. Today we challenge RSL clubs on the coast also. If you accept- you start tomorrow!
Travelscoot for Harry
Gosford RSL Club was more than happy to purchase the Travelscoot for Harry.
